Backgammon ribbons awarded at State Fair (The Altoona Herald-Mitchellville Index)
Dan Kennedy, 59, of Denver won the Division 1 (experienced players) title in the backgammon tournament on Aug. 11 at the Iowa State Fair. Winning the Division 2 title (less experienced players) was Kal Nossuli, 64, of Urbandale.
